The deity of Christ is usually the central issue; first let us look at the great difference the Word of God places between God and his creation, between the Creator and mankind whom He has made
GOD Matt. 19:26- All things possible with God
MAN Luke 12:26– All things not possible with man
GOD Deut. 33:27- God is Eternal
MAN Is. 40:6- Man not eternal, but like the grass of the field

In Isaiah 42:8, we are told not to trust in man, but in God alone. Paul tells us in Romans 1:25 of the error of worshipping or serving any created thing and not the creator. With this in mind, let us see what the Scriptures teach about the nature and character of Christ.

In conclusion, Jesus was not merely a man but a God who became man, any church who does not recognize this qualifies Him to be a cult- Iglesia ni Cristo (Manalo) is one great example
